The Scottsboro Depot Museum is located in Scottsboro, AL, the county seat of Jackson County, in the Northeast corner of Alabama at the corner of North Houston and Maple Streets:

























From Chattanooga

  1. Take -24 West toward NASHVILLE/BIRMINGHAM (Passing through GEORGIA, then crossing into TENNESSEE) for 26.8 miles.

  2. Take the US-64/US-72 exit, EXIT 152, toward US-41/KIMBALL/S PITTSBURG for 0.1 miles.

  3. Take the ramp toward S PITTSBURG/RUSSELL CAVE NATL MONUMENT for 0.1 miles.

  4. Take a SLIGHT RIGHT onto US-72 W/US-64 W/TN-150 S/TN-27 W. Continue to follow US-72 W (Crossing into ALABAMA) for 29.3 miles.

  5. Merge onto AL-279 S toward SCOTTSBORO for 3.6 miles.

  6. Stay STRAIGHT to go onto E WILLOW ST/AL-35 for 0.7 miles.

  7. Turn RIGHT onto N BROAD ST for 0.1 miles.

  8. Turn LEFT onto W MAPLE AVE for 0.1 miles. The Scottsboro Depot Museum is located at ADDRESS.


From Huntsville

  1. Take I-565 East, which becomes US-72 E for 35.8 miles.

  2. Take the AL-279 S/BROAD STREET ramp for 0.3 miles.

  3. Take the ramp toward SCOTTSBORO.

  4. Turn LEFT onto AL-279/S BROAD ST. Continue to follow S BROAD ST for 2.2 miles.

  5. Turn LEFT onto WEST MAPLE AVE for 0.1 miles. The Scottsboro Depot Museum is located at ADDRESS.


From Montgomery, AL

  1. Take I-65 North toward BIRMINGHAM for 78.8 miles.

  2. Merge onto I-459 N via EXIT 250 toward US-280/ATLANTA/GADSDEN for 18.1 miles.

  3. Merge onto I-59 N via EXIT 33B toward GADSDEN for 81.4 miles.

  4. Take the AL-35 exit, EXIT 218, toward FORT PAYNE/RAINSVILLE for 0.3 miles.

  5. Turn LEFT onto AL-35 N/GLENN BLVD SW. Continue to follow AL-35 N for 23.4 miles.

  6. Take a SLIGHT RIGHT onto VETERANS DR/AL-35 N for 2.9 miles.

  7. Turn LEFT onto E WILLOW ST/AL-35 for 0.7 miles.

  8. Turn RIGHT onto N BROAD ST for 0.1 miles.
